There were many people involved in Shay's Rebellion whether they were important or not.

Luke Day had his own fleet that was going to help Shays but could not make it to help succeed in his rebellion. He wrote a letter to Shays but it was intercepted by the government which made them aware of the attack Shays was planning.

General Benjamin Lincoln led the militia that pursued the fleeing rebels.

General William Shepard also led one of the militias that fought at Springfield. One of his men unexpectedly shot cannons that triggered Shays men to retreat.

Daniel Shays rounded up many farmers that had the same mindset as him. Each of them were angry due to the economy and the debt that was put on them. Shays' led the farmers throughout the rebellion and used his experience as a general in the Revolutionary War to lead them.

Job Shattuck was a wealthy land owner and owned the most land in Massachusetts. Shattuck fought in the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War. He used his experience when forming groups to protest over silver taxes. Shattuck was also decided to be one of the key leaders in the rebellion.
